“Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. Matthew 16:3-20. When your confidence is low, and you do not feel worthy, why don’t you ask yourself, “Who does God say I am?”
When you ask yourself this question, the Holy Spirit feels free to answer that for you. You are a child of God who is the most High of High and the King of Kings. You are a princess or a prince in the eyes of God and his Heavenly Kingdom. No one or nothing can steal that royal title away from you except you.
So when you feel down on yourself because things may not be going the way you want them to pray to our Father in Heaven. God knows what you are going, though, before you do. God patiently waits for you to ask for His help, and when you ask, you shall receive. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
